🎷 2. Article: Busting the myths about Blues!
We know that many (especially Lindy and Swing dancers) love blues music but hesitate to step onto the blues floor. A very common misconception is that blues dancing always has to be a super intimate, hugging-in-the-dark kind of dance.
Let’s bust that myth! Sure, blues can be intimate – “Close Embrace” is fantastic when you have the technique and both partners choose to dance close. But blues is so much more! It’s Jookin’, playful conversations in open position, solo moves, and an unbeatable way to train your musicality. In Lea’s course, you’ll get the tools to become truly comfortable on the blues floor.

Don’t miss our upcoming Balboa weekend on March 7-8 in Malmö! In addition to great workshops, we are also hosting a Bring Your Own (BYO) Dinner & Social. Bring your own food/drinks, sit down with friends and social dance all evening.
