SWINGSHOES BLUES THURSDAY featuring Reddie & Abel

We are excited to announce that SwingShoes 3rd End-of-Round Blues Thursday, will feature no other but Reddie & Abel!

We are very fortunate to welcome the 4 musicians of Reddie & Abel to play some infamous blues tunes during the evening for our listening and dancing pleasure.

If you have not tried blues dancing, we have organized a taster at 18:00-19.15. You will learn the basic steps and moves, enough for you to participate in the social dancing when Reddie & Abel goes live.

The taster and gig with Reddie & Abel are free for all Swingshoes members. If you are not a member, it only costs 60kr and can be purchased from our website by following this link:

Reddie & Abel is a quartet based in Copenhagen. The band originated from a love of the raw and simple blues of the American South.

All the songs are home-grown with raw guitar, rocking bass and mesmerizing vocals in a musical mix that combines storytelling, folk, blues and spoken word to Reddie & Abel’s very own Murder Blues. Reddie & Abel stand proudly on the shoulders of the likes of Tom Waits, Johnny Cash and Robert Johnson.
