Welcome to Cats’ Corners swingin’ Wednesday Night Hop in the grand ballroom at Moriska Paviljongen.

Tonight we have a free swing DJ WorkShop 18-20 in the ballroom at Moriskan, right before the regular WNH. Both established DJs and those who are curious about starting are very welcome.

FREE SWING DJ WORKSHOP

  • 18:00 – Listening to music and social chatting about the music
  • 19:00 – Tour of the equipment at Moriskan & our new mixer
  • 20:00 – WNH starts … stay and dance

We will start the evening by listening to “Swing Music” and discuss “just how much does it actually swing?” … DJ Todi has a crazy playlist prepared to challenge our ears.

In the 2nd session. We’ll have a tour of the equipment at Moriskan and our new Mixer that we recently purchased. If you are an active DJ please bring your laptop so we can install the necessary driver to use the built-in sound card!

LINDY HOP

The main dance on Wednesdays’ is Lindy Hop, a swing dance originating in the 30-40s in Harlem, NY. But you are always welcome to dance whatever you like or just hang out
