Unofficial swingin’ picknick & social dance in Nobelparken 1/6

The spring semester at Kårhuset is over, but we’re not done dancing yet! We’re extending the season with a spontaneous swingin’ picnic and social dance at Dansön in Nobelparken.

This evening is free and open to everyone! Bring a blanket, your dancing shoes, and something tasty to eat. While the dance floor itself can’t be reserved, it’s usually free for use.

We’ll see you from 6 p.m., but please feel free to come earlier (or drop in later). Håkan brings a small speaker and a playlist, but it’s free for others to help out and decide on the music and take over the DJing for a while. If you want to dance before Håkan gets there, the big white box is a Bluetooth speaker. There’s also a megaphone that you can put your phone in, which amplifies the sound unexpectedly well…

We continue until everyone’s tired 🙂

Get off at the Brunnshög torg stop, only a 12-minute tram ride from Lund Central Station. Then a few minutes walk to the dance “Dansön” located here:
