Swingin´Midsummer Picnic with Live Music

Summer is coming and we´ve got grrrreat news for ya´ll!
As part of the traditional ”midsommarfirande” in Folkets Park you can this year not only dance Små grodorna around the pole, but also Swing out at the new wooden floor by the big stage in Folkets Park. Their will be a lindyhop performance on stage and a quick taster for everybody at 12.00 The Swing Street Orchestra will play from 12.30-13.30. So bring your picnic and dancing & non dancing friends and all their kids and families!
FULL PROGRAM in Folkets Park
10.00 – 11.00 Entertainment for the kids on stage. Making of flower arrangements and rising of the pole.
11.00 – 12.00 Traditional midsummer dances and music with The Carr Family.
12.00-12.30 Lindyhop performance & taster on stage
12.30-13.30 Socialdancing to The Swing Street Orchestra
13.30 – 15.30 Traditional folkdances. Hembygdsgillet i Malmö.
