SUMMARY:Leading Ladies Swing Festival 2020
DESCRIPTION:The festival welcomes all genders to learn from the Leading Ladies of Swing! Attend as either lead\, follow\, or switch dancer\, and realise your full potential!\nWe have made sure to hire some of the top women within the swing dance scene to teach\, play live music\, MC\, DJ and everything in between. Classes are not sorted by levels\, but by minimum experience\, as we believe some skills can be learned regardless of your partner’s skill level (Connection & Musicality)\, while others require some previous experience and knowledge within the dance (Moves & Variations).  \nTEACHERS:\nThe Decavitas (SWE)\nJoy Jing (US) & Gio Olla (SWE)\nSandy Lewis (US) & Fancy Dougherty (US)\nTrisha Sewell (UK)\nNina Rüetschi (CH) & Maayke Broeksma (NL)\nNiomi McSorley (UK) & Aï Ito (FR) \nBANDS:\nTBA in early 2020 \nDJ’s:\nTBA in March 2020 \nLEVELS & TRACKS:\nClasses are not sorted by levels\, but by minimum experience\, as we believe some skills can be learned regardless of your partner’s skill level (Connection & Musicality)\, while others require some previous experience and knowledge within the dance (Moves & Variations).  \nThe three core tracks (Lindy Hop\, Balboa & Collegiate Shag) offer a class of Moves & Variations as well as a class of Connection & Musicality.  \nTheme tracks are open level\, and only offered either Saturday or Sunday. The four theme tracks are:\n– Solo Jazz\n– Boogie Woogie\n– Aerials (Partner required)\n– St. Louis Shag \nYou can choose one track (either core or theme) per day.  \nFurther information about the specific classes at https://www.leadingladiesswingfestival.dk/Classes/class-descriptions.html \nSCHEDULE:\nClasses start at 10:00 AM Saturday and end no later than 4 PM Sunday.  \nEach day has 4 hours of classes.  \nVENUES:\nThe classes will take place in the area around Nørrebro Station in Copenhagen NV.  \nParties will take place in either Copenhagen NV or city centre.  \nHOSTING:\nWe have a lot of attendants from abroad\, please help out by signing up to host some of our lovely guests here: https://forms.gle/69kXhd25XZo7nTkP9
