The NGBG Gatufest is back and Cats’ Corner f\u00f6rening is opening ’Move on up’ Stage (by Bosniska K\u00f6ket) with a 30min Lindy hop workshop for complete beginners* followed by social dancing to Dj music and live music from Malm\u00f6’s local Swing band: Triangelkvartetten**!<\/p>\n

From 14-16, the next artists on stage, Liz Sailor & Matspatrik Malmros from 78 varvss\u00e4llskapet will be playing a variety of music, many tunes will be swing-dance friendly!<\/p>\n

*No pre-registration or partner needed to take part. This class is targeted at adults but courageous teens are also very welcome to join.<\/p>\n
**Triangelkvartetten: The original 4 members of the band started when they where jamming at the Triangel square – hence the name Triangelkvartetten. The band has grown in number of members and is now maybe the world\u2019s (or at least Malm\u00f6\u2019s) biggest swing quartet!<\/p>\n
The main dance is Lindy Hop, a swing dance originating in the 30-40s in Harlem, NY. But you are always welcome to dance whatever you like or just hang out

Cats’ Corner is a non-profit dance organisation from Malm\u00f6. Our main focus is Lindy Hop, but we gladly also dance Charleston, Balboa, Shag, Blues, Authentic Jazz and other Swing dances.<\/p>\n
