At about 22:15 we close of the Blues floor and join the main ballroom. At the same time the swingin social dance in Morsikans grand ballroom starts at 7.45 pm!
BLUES
Precis som all annan swingdans föddes bluesdansen ur afrikanska rytmer och rörelser. Bluesdansar gör man till långsam musik med mycket känsla – blues helt enkelt. Känslan är viktigast, stegen är sekundära. Blues är en mer intim dans som hör hemma i rökiga juke joints och på sena efterfester.

Nybörjarjazz med Mina & Filippa
Mina & Filippa tillsammans med Cats’ Corner och Karavan presenterar Nybörjarjazz med Mina & Filippa!
Kursen omfattar åtta timmar undervisning under två dagar och du kommer du få lära dig en bred variation av enklare jazzsteg och kortare koreografier. Vi kommer att titta på strukturen i musiken, på hur vi kan anpassa vår dans efter den samt genom roliga övningar träna på att uttrycka oss med kroppen.
Kursen kommer hållas på nybörjarnivå men vi vill att du ska ha gått minst en nybörjarhelg i Lindy Hop.

Do you have a fabolous dress/suit/skirt/shirt/waistcoat/shoes that no longer fits, but would like it to continue it’s dancing journey in a good home? This is the time for us dancers to buy and sell dance related clothing to each other! Please do not bring ordinary clothes but things suitable for a big band evening, for example retro inspired pieces in 1930’s or 1940’s style. In order for you to buy and sell items you need to use Swish.

I kväll sparkar våra vänner från Cats ’Corner igång sin Wednesday Night Hop Monday Night Swing är tillbaka på måndag. Båda inkluderar en nybörjarklass för Lindy Hop för att skicka alla dina vänner till eller gå med dig själv för att komma igång.

På söndagen är det äntligen dags för en liten Swing Kids/Teens-kurs med social dans för föräldrarna och Lindy Hop akrobatik.
Det finns fortfarande på i många av Lindy Hop-kurserna i vår, eftersom vi dubblat nybörjar-helger i Lindy Hop, nybörjar-fortsättning och till och med några av de högre nivåerna som C & D nu finns tillgängliga på tisdag.
