EXTRA: Tonight we have invited the teachers from the ”Flying Lindy Hop Show” track to teach a free (included in door fee) taster class. In the taster they will show some simple lifts and jumps that anyone can try…

The drop-in class is included in the regular entrance fee and you are very welcome regardless of age, membership, dance ability, with or without a partner and if you are a student or not

The main dance on Wednesdays’ is Lindy Hop, a swing dance originating in the 30-40s in Harlem, NY. But you are always welcome to dance whatever you like or just hang out

FLYING LINDY HOP

Acrobatics in Lindy Hop is actually forbidden on the social dance floor but fun to practice and very stylish in a show or a jam. In tonights taster you get a chance to try som easy lifts and jumps that does not require a fixed partner

NOTE! You participate at your own risk and must be aware that even with light acrobatics there is a risk of injury.
Warming up properly, listening to the teachers and sometimes daring to refrain from doing something are good ways to avoid injuries.
