DESCRIPTION:The course is open to everyone but this particular course has bigger youth and student discounts as well as extra discount for LTH students as it’s arranged in cooperation with TLTH’s dance courses. \nDue to covid-19\,\nwe limit the number of participants to a maximum of 40 people and skip the normally mandatory change of partners. You should of course stay at home and let us know if you have the slightest cold symptoms or the like which can be a sign of covid-19. You will then get your course fee as a credit to be used for a later course. \nDo you like to dance or would you like to know how? Does “gangster swing” and “updated retro coolness” sound interesting? Then HepTown’s beginners Lindy Hop weekend workshop in Lund is the thing for you! \nOur introductory course is for those who have no knowledge of Lindy Hop\, or took a couple of courses a long time ago and need to brush up the basics again. \nYou will learn different basic steps\, the most common figures and basic leading/following techniques. The aim of the introductory course is to enable you to dance with the rest of us during social dance nights. \nThe workshop is a two-day introduction to this cool thing called Swing. We promise a workout worth a fitness centre combined with more fun than you’ve had for weeks. Därför tänkte jag möta upp våra danska vänner på Shell-macken i Lockarp kl 11.00. De Rockers som så önskar är naturligtvis välkomna att samlas där så kör vi kl 11:30 via en mindre omväg tillsammans genom stan till Stortorget. \nMods:\nMods samlas vid Lokstallarna i Kirseberg kl 11:30. Kl 11:45 blir det gemensam avfärd mot Stortorget. \nKl 12:00 strålar vi samman på var sin sida om passagen över torget som tidigare år. \nKl 13:00 kör de Rockers och Mods som så önskar med till Hepcat Store i Lund förslagsvis via gamla Lundavägen där tidsenlig Bullens varmkorv\, läsk och kaffe finns tillhanda. \n——————————————————- \nHelgen den 21-23 augusti håller Modsen Europa-träff i Malmö vilken innebär att stan kommer att översvämmas av parkasklädda lymlar i ett moln av tvåtakts-rök. Kl 12:00 den 23 augusti kommer de att breda ut sig på Stortorget i Malmö eftersom det enligt utsago inte finns några Rockers kvar i regionen. \nSå kan vi väl ändå inte ha det?! \nJag sänder därför ut ett SOS och en vädjan till mina klubbkompisar i Ton Up Denmark och mina svenska Rockervänner att möta upp på Stortorget i Malmö vid kl 12 söndagen den 23 augusti. \nVi skall försöka hålla oss till tidsenliga fordon\, d.v.s. i första hand engelska caferacers från 60-talet eller äldre. Även andra hojar som är från 60-tal eller äldre är välkomna och caferacers från 70-talet går säkert också bra. Vissa nyare retrohojar går ju även de knappt att skilja från det man körde på 60-talet.\n Kort sagt\, om ett foto av din hoj görs svart vitt och det ser ut som 60-tal är du välkommen.\n Kör du annan typ av hoj är du naturligtvis välkommen som åskådare men parkera då din MC en bit bort. \nÄven klädsel är viktigt. Engelsk Rocker-stil eller skandinavisk skinnknutte-stil är det som gäller. \nAng Covid-19:\nDet är viktigt att vi följer gällande rekommendationer. Vi undviker i år de annars så vanliga kamratliga kramarna och även att skaka hand. Att t.ex. hälsa med armbågarna har blivit ett tillfälligt substitut. Tänk på att hålla minst en armlängds avstånd och stanna hemma om du känner minsta förkylningssymptom dagarna innan eventet. \nJuridiskt förtydligande:\nDetta är två separata evenemang under samma paraply. Scooterister har sin separata körning och motorcyklister sin separata körning. Under en kortare tid strålar dessa två körningar samman på Stortorget i Malmö men på var sin sida av passagen över torget.

DESCRIPTION:År 1961 gav Henry Mancini och Johny Mercer ut låten “Moon River”.  Nu är det 2020\, vi har inte fått dansa som på ett halvår och ingen vet när saker blir som vanligt igen. Men tills dess kan vi vandra tillsammans längs Höje å från havet vid Lomma till Lund. \nSöndag 16 augusti kl. 10:00 startar vandringen från Lomma busstation. Omkring 13:30 – 14:00 är vi framme vid Rådmansvången i Lund. Då har vi vandrat ca 10 km. Medtag fika och möt hösten genom att se landskapet ur helt nya perspektiv!   \nVid Rådmansvången finns en vacker park där vi kan avsluta med lunch. DESCRIPTION:Yes\, HepTown and Sommar Lund invites you to swing in the park every Wednesday from the 1st of July  to 12th of August. \nWe take this opportunity to work on our solo swing dance as it’s an important and fun part of becoming excellent Lindy Hoppers.  \n###  HOURS\n+ Open: 18.30 – 2100.\n+ Cost: Free*\n+ Easy class: 18:30-19:20\,  Easy Shim Sham variations etc\n+ Challenging class: 19:30-20:30\, Advanced Shim Sham variations etc\n+ Teacher: Mattias Bruzelius on both classes\n+ Solo swing dance jam: 20.30-21:00\n+ Full summer schedule: shorturl.at/kKLO4 \n*As part of Sommarlund this is a free event but you are very welcome to support us by becoming a HepCat member.\nhttps://www.heptown.com/member/ \n### 50 PEOPLE LIMIT\nTo ensure that we are a maximum of 50 people inside the fences around the dance floor\, SommarLund has extra staff on site to hand out 50 tags (Dansband). When you go home (or take a longer break) you leave your tag which is then disinfected. There are extra tags to be handed out while the disinfected ones are left to dry. \n### IS THIS REALLY A GOOD IDEA!?\n*It will not be business as usual. We strive to follow and surpass guidelines and recommendations.* \nSome examples of measurements we are considering \n+ Authentic jazz solo dance classes instead of coupled Lindy Hop.\n+ Beginners Lindy Hop without rotating partner.\n+ Opting out the social dance part or making it a solo jazz jam.\n+ Larger dance space for better distance.\n+ Fenced dance area with a limit of 50 people at once \n### MORE THAN DANCING\nThis is also a good time to have picnic or barbecue while keeping good distance\, play some games or just lounging in the sun. There is a roof over the dance floor if it should happen to rain. \n###  LOCATION\nThe dance-floor will be located at Söderlyckan a little bit south Stadsparken i Lund.
