We sincerely hope the rest of Europe will be ready to dance with us in May 2022. \nThere’s still a lot of details to settle on\, but we have the dates\, the venue\, and an ambition to make musicality the overall theme of the event. \nHave you forgotten what the Copenhagen Lindy Exchange is about? Don’t worry\, we haven’t. Here’s what you can expect:\n– 4 days of dancing and partying\n– Great live bands of both swing jazz and blues music\n– Taster classes with live music and talented musicians\n– A great community of volunteers\n– More taster classes with inspiring teachers\n– Denmarks’ biggest lindy hop party\n– Daytime activities to explore the city and hang out with new and old friends \n\nCopenhagen Lindy Exchange is organized by volunteers and financially supported by SwingShoes\, the oldest and biggest swing dance association in Copenhagen. Since 2000\, SwingShoes have offered classes in lindy hop and solo jazz. With a mission to give back to the local swing community\, SwingShoes has supported the organisation of Copenhagen Lindy Exchange both financially and with dedicated volunteers.

Musikalisk ledare är Erik Berndalen – trumpetare tillika universitetsadjunkt på musikhögskolan i Malmö. Repertoaren bjuder på  allt från epokgörande evergreens från 20-40-talet – de välkända glada eller bitterljuva örhängena – till nyskriven vacker såväl som riktigt rivig retroswing i storbandstappning.
