So there is room for a big party!  \nNormally these kind of parties would be all about people talking with each other. But we swing dancers have other ways to party together!  \nSo this meetup will have very little talk. Instead\, we will be dancing together of course!  \nWe will be playing great swing music for you via Zoom that you can dance along to while also watching everyone else dancing along at the same time to the same music! While this practice is free\, any twitch subscriptions\, tips\, or purchases made during the lesson (or right after) will be forwarded to the teacher.   \nThe social dance will be DJ’d remotely by some of the finest DJ’s from around the world and we won’t stop playing music until everyone’s done dancing!   \nI suggest staying home\, moving the sofa over and solo dancing unless you’re living with someone who can dance with ya! (And if you’re living with someone who doesn’t dance…. it’s time to teach them) \nThe music and dancing is shared through zoom.  If you’d like to have an additional device set up to tune in to twitch the viewership really helps my broadcast get in front of more non-dancers and helps out my channel. DESCRIPTION:Join a fun online Zoom Swing Dance party this Friday! \nZoom is an online platform for video conferences that allows people to have a video hangout together. \nWe have set up an account that allows 500 people to join the same video hang out! So there is room for a big party! \nNormally these kind of parties would be all about people talking with each other. But we swing dancers have other ways to party together! \nSo this meetup will have very little talk. Instead\, we will be dancing together of course! \nWe will be playing great swing music for you via Zoom that you can dance along to while also watching everyone else dancing along at the same time to the same music! It’s going to feel like being a big Swing Dance party with everyone dancing together! 🙂 \nWe will of course also do the Shim Sham and the Tranky doo (which you can learn this week with in our workshops).\nWe will also organize several dancing games during the party that you can join regardless of whether you have a partner to dance with or not. \nWe hope you will join this experiment in having an online Swing Dance party! Man danser til swing musik\, og fordi trinene er små\, kan man danse hurtigt og på lidt plads. Man behøver ikke meget mere end en glat trappesten. Det er sjovt men også elegant. \nFredag den 27 marts er det slow balboa aften. Forskellen er primært hastigheden på musikken. Position og forbindelse der identisk\, nogle moves er nærmest identiske. DESCRIPTION:Each week we will start the social out with a guided practice with a featured dance teacher.  While this practice is free\, any twitch subscriptions\, tips\, or purchases made during the lesson (or right after) will be forwarded to the teacher. \nThe social dance will be DJ’d remotely by some of the finest DJ’s from around the world and we won’t stop playing music until everyone’s done dancing! \nI suggest staying home\, moving the sofa over and solo dancing unless you’re living with someone who can dance with ya! (And if you’re living with someone who doesn’t dance…. it’s time to teach them) \nThe music and dancing is shared through zoom.  If you’d like to have an additional device set up to tune in to twitch the viewership really helps my broadcast get in front of more non-dancers and helps out my channel. Plus participating in twitch chat is a lot of fun! \nIf we meet maximum capacity on zoom (100 users) twitch will act as an overflow as that does not have a limit.
