It’s grounded\, intimate\, and improvisational\, with a strong focus on connection\, musicality\, and listening—to the music and to each other. Rather than fixed steps\, blues dancing invites you to move naturally\, expressively\, and in close conversation with your partner and the live sound. \nDo I need to know how to dance Blues to attend this event? \nNo. We’ll begin the evening with a Blues taster class\, giving everyone simple tools and a shared language to feel comfortable on the social floor. While Blues dancers will feel right at home at this event\, dancers from all backgrounds are warmly welcome. \nYou don’t need Blues technique to dance to this kind of music. Compared to other partner dances\, Blues does not have a strict structure that you need to know to be able to dance it.
