The goal with this blues circle is to make the beginner feel at home at a blues party or blues weekend and to give the more experienced dancer a chance to practice and learn new moves\, or why not learn the role you usually don’t dance? \nThere will not be any experienced instructor\, but someone from the circle or an invited guest will share their knowledge on a specific part of blues dancing each time. The topics will depend on who is instructing\, but preliminarily they would be: \nBlues moves and slides\, solo and together\nInside and outside turns\nWalks and ochos\nSwitching\nClose embrace \nIt is totally fine to just show up and participate\, but you are very welcome to help out with instructing\, being instructor sidekick or DJing one of the nights. This will be coordinated by Pelle Ohlsson so let him know if you are interested! \nEach night will be free standing\, but you will learn the most from joining as many of them as you can. I USA var det populärt bland de unga att lyssna på och dansa till alla band som uppstod under denna kreativa era. Charleston dansades både solo och som pardans och var en av de mest populära danserna under 20-talet. Under slutet på årtiondet skulle den komma att influera såväl lindy hop som andra populära swingdanser. Charleston kännetecknas av sin lekfullhet och tydliga rytm som följer stilen i den tidiga jazzen.
