2012-05-24Malmoe: Cats' Corner theme class @ Tangopalatset

In this class you will learn more about jam culture, which is big in Lindy hop. How does it work? How do you get a jam to flow smoothly? What is required in order to get in the circle? Are there simple ways to get your moment in the spotlight look extra good? Micke and Philippa will give you all the knowledge you need!

Limited amount of spots on this one, so register quickly! You’ll need to sign up with a partner.

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., May 24
Location: TangoPalatset
Price: 100 SEK (pay on location), free for those participating in Malmö Spring Jump or has a Party Pass, registration is required however, for everybody!

On May 25-27 our friends from Cats' Corner in Malmö are arranging an international Lindy Hop workshop featuring Peter Strom & Sylvia Sykes, Skye Humphries & Marie Nahnfeldt-Mattsson, Trisha Sewell & Benjamin Cook.

PRELIMINARY PARTY SCHEDULE:

Thursday May 24th: Weekly Cats' Corner Thursday night swing DJ night (Members SEK 50 others SEK 60). Open 19.30-23.00, full bar available. Venue: Tangopalatset, Amiralsgatan 47.

Friday May 25th: Bonus night FREE for workshop participants. People Swing Orchestra performing live. Open (prel.) 20-01. Venue: Limhamns folkets hus.

Saturday May 26th: Main party night! Swing Tarturo from Gothenborg performing live, and much more! Open (prel.) 20-01. Venue: KFUM.

Sunday May 27th: Wind down with.. more dancing! After the workshop ends, we will have a good old sunday night tea dance. We'll keep going until 22 if you do! Venue: KFUM.

A LIMITED amount of PARTY PASSES including FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY will be available soon at SEK 350.
